Our Spotlight Series for Students season 2009-2010 will showcase performances by award-winning dance, music, juggling, puppetry, and storytelling artists from the USA, Colombia, Peru, and South Korea. School performances happen during the weekday and are generally no longer than an hour and always include a short facilitated dialogue between students and performers. Tickets are $6.50 per student with one free adult chaperone ticket for every 10 students.
Interested in a pre-show and/or post-show workshops for your students? For an additional cost schools can arrange for pre- and or post-show workshops or a residency with quality FCCA teaching artists who will provide your students with an interactive, hands-on arts learning experiences to prepare them for and/or follow up the performance they see at Flushing Town Hall.

All performances happen at Flushing Town Hall’s renovated 308-seat concert hall/theater in our historic 1864 building. We are centrally located in Flushing’s historic downtown area at 137-35 Northern Boulevard.

Short Stories includes a riot of characters composed of knees, feet, hands, elbows and a handful of props playing out the poetic moments of daily life. Starts at 10:00 AM.
