Sun May 4th Elena Moon Park & Friends
For Families: This performance features Korean-American mandolinist, violinist, and ace trumpeter Elena Moon Park, a frequent Dan Zanes collaborator, who mixes Asian languages with English in Japanese sea shanties, Tibetan jump-rope rhymes, Korean harvest sing-alongs and Taiwanese train songs. Starts at 1:00 PM.

Sun May 18th Interactive Arts: Ologunde
For Families: Learn to play Afro-Brazilian percussion! Master percussionist Dende will teach you proper technique, exercises, and traditional rhythms. Children with adults welcome. Drums provided. Starts at 1:00 PM.

For Families: Ologunde celebrates the rich Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador, Bahia through a diverse repertoire of music, dance and martial arts. Ologunde will perform a diverse repertoire which includes candomble, capoeira, maculele and samba de roda. Part of Queens College, Year of Brazil. Starts at 2:15 PM.
Sat May 24th South American Voices of NY - TANGOLANDO & FESTEJATION
2 ensembles, 1 stage & an open dance floor offer varying takes on Latin Jazz. Featuring Tangolando, the first encounter of the tango with Afro-Peruvian music, and FESTEJATION’s traditional Afro-Peruvian music with jazz, funk, and other Latin styles. Supported in part by NYC Council Member Daniel Dromm. Starts at 7:00 PM.

Join I.A.M. (Immigrant Advancement Matters) for an unforgettable Open Mic that brings together some of NYC’s most talented performers/poets to share their work for a unifying cause: Immigration. Proceeds will support I.A.M.’s Educational Programs. Starts at 7:00 PM.
Fri Jun 20th Kenny Brawner is Ray Charles
This hybrid concert/theater work brings the music and story of the great Ray Charles to vivid life! Portraying Ray, master pianist/vocalist/actor Kenny Brawner leads his 12-piece orchestra and 3 sultry vocalists (a la Raelettes) performing Ray’s top hits. Starts at 7:00 PM.

Celebrate the immigrant LGBTQ voices of Queens! Artists will be determined through an open call: All LGBTQ musicians, dancers, and performing artists based in Queens may submit applications, and Latino and other Immigrant and minority artists who selfidentify as LGBTQ are particularly encouraged to apply.
