Dance lesson at 1pm, performance at 2pm

A new look at some centuries old folk music, delivered by a
high-octane mix of not-so-traditional Eastern-European Jewish
and Turkish music. Led by harmonica innovator Jason Rosenblatt,
one of the few people worldwide who can play the diatonic
harmonica (a.k.a. blues harp) chromatically, Shtreiml’s 5-piece
band has performed internationally at notable festivals and
venues. Joined by Rachel Lemisch (trombone), Thierry Arsenault
(drums), Adam Stotland (bass) and Michael Winograd (clarinet)
the group has been labeled “explosive” (Halifax Chronicle Herald)
and “exhilarating” (Rootsworld). Come for dance lessons and stay
for a musical celebration!

Members please call (718) 463-7700 ext. 222 to purchase your tickets.
