Join us for the final performance in our Women’s History Month Trilogy series.
Vocalist Emilie Surtees will take the stage with her band of musicians and background vocalists for an exciting performance, honoring the music of famous female vocalists such as Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Olivia Newton John, and Aretha Franklin.
"I'm Every Woman" is Surtees’ expressive way of honoring female vocalists during Women's History Month at Flushing Town Hall.
Much of the music presented in this concert was popularized by women who reached Star Status and have transitioned, such as Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Olivia Newton John, Whitney Houston, Dusty Springfield, and Loretta Lynn.
This concert will be an eclectic potpourri of great music made by great women, a music mosaic with something that everyone can enjoy.
