Join Flushing Town Hall’s Art Services Team and Artist Dani Changah Song for a portfolio development workshop as they go through what makes a successful portfolio.

For many creatives, capturing documentation may come as an afterthought when producing a new work. This workshop will navigate the various approaches for different visual arts disciplines and how to implement these strategies into your artistic process.

During this workshop, the FTH Art Services Team will cover the importance of documenting your work as an artist and how to utilize your documentation beyond your website.

Dani Changah Song is a Queens-based interdisciplinary artist. Song’s art practice encompasses two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, time-based art, performance, and community engagement initiatives. With a dedication to fostering communal bonds through art, she endeavors to enrich communication and elevate her community through collective art experiences.  Her artworks have been included in national and international exhibitions. In 2023, Song had her first solo exhibition at Voelker Orth Museum in Queens.  She received New Work Grant from Queens Arts Fund last year and she is a recipient of the Artists in Queens Grant 2024.
