Join us in the Flushing Town Hall Theater for the first performance in our 2023 Women's History Month Trilogy series.
"Golden Girls" will celebrate the music of Dionne Warwick, Shirley Bassey, Barbra Streisand, Carole King, and Petula Clark. The performance will be a musical celebration of women who all had a major presence throughout radio stations across America spanning the 1960’s and into the 1980’s.
The tribute concert will be performed by vocalist Zoe Lyons Nieves and her musicians as they perform a medley of popular music that will span more than forty years.
This concert will also make a detour into the 2000s, presenting a selection of music from American pop icons Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, and Lady Gaga.
“The Golden Girls” will span the old, the new, and the in-between… with selections of music that are sure to please audiences of all kinds.
About the Artist:
Zoe Lyons Nieves is an award winning singer/songwriter/producer who has received a Boston Music Award, has hit the charts of Billboard, and was signed to Sony under Epic Records.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she has been living in New York for over 25 years, enjoying a successful career collaborating with many producers recording original music and performing at many private events. Her voice has been featured in several television and radio jingles including Disney, Showtime, Chevrolet, and Poland Springs.
She became a frequent performer at Mohegan Sun and many special events throughout the country, including NFL Commissioner’s Superbowl Ball, Fox Broadcasting Company’s Upfront parties, the opening night parties for On the Town, and Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet Of 1812.
“The Golden Girls” is sure to be another one of her memorable performances, bringing to life the music of all these iconic women in the Flushing Town Hall Theater.
