Artist Statement

This was a fun little piece that I transformed into a digital version. It was from a fun little prompt: swimming. I added some fun elements like swimming with big goldfish.

About The Artist

Born and raised in NYC, Mimi Xia is a multimedia artist. With a focus on all things creative, she creates visual illustrations inspired by the world around her. Pen and ink, watercolor, markers, digital painting, and graphic illustration are just some of the mediums that she uses in creating her art. In addition to beautiful designs, Mimi incorporates clear storytelling and an exploration for mixed media and digital artwork.
