Artist Statement

Glass to has a wonderful physical property, transparent or opaque, allowing you to see the illusion of space and depth. This causes a magical flow, embodying fun, playfulness, and spiritual energy. This can be healing, by holding you in the present moment to enjoy that magic, be enthralled, look within, and be charmed so you forget the world’s challenges.

About The Artist

As a native New Yorker, I have always been an artist, having first discovered this passion at an early age. I worked with many different mediums – oils, ink, acrylics. For the past 18 years, almost exclusively in glass. I learned about design, space, color and light at Parsons School of Design and Long Island University, NY. Nine years ago I embarked on the journey to learn about kiln work, prior to that I assembled my art with found and stain glass. Presently, I use fused glass as the main component with the occasional use of wood and metal within the art pieces I create sculptures, wall hangings, and glass architectural accents that can be seen in homes, and your workspaces. I also create glass vases, platters and lovely jewelry.
