Artist Statement

Stacey gravitates to the art of collage and mixed media because of their tactile nature and accessibility. Her work is guided by three principles:

1) Intuition 
2) Emotion 
3) Incorporation of found materials (paper, salvaged materials, reclaimed wood, street posters, and her own photography)
 

About The Artist

Stacey Burgay is a creative producer and artist living in New York City. She holds a B.S. in Film and Television Production from Ithaca College. In addition to being a mixed media artist, she has also produced short films, podcasts, curated community art events, and managed large-scale marketing campaigns for major brands and nonprofit institutions.
