Conch Shell Productions Inc presents BLUELIGHT READING SERIES - readings of new plays written by our company's Caribbean heritage Artist Collective members.
About the play:
Evil Foreign Hell Demons are lurking under the Foreign Boy’s bed as he dreams of rescuing his father from Hell. Will Captain Heaven America show up in time to save the day?
Artist Statement:
This is a fever dream not a play. At times this story feels like a comic book, and at other moments a cartoon. It is a raw investigation into the psyche of an island child—a dance between American exceptionalism and the foreign identity.
About Petron:

He is also a two-time KCACTF Irene Ryan Region IV Finalist. Petron’s work as a playwright explores international conversations on humanity. His most recent play, The Colour Woman, is a raw investigation into the psyche of an island child. @petron.brown
