Flushing Town Hall's Mini-Global Mashup series continues through 2024! This Mini-Global Mashup series is bringing together two amazing global music artists along with two accompanists for an afternoon of music, conversation and exploration.

Flushing Town Hall welcomes Everton Isidoro, the high-energy Brazilian steel percussionist along with accompanist Marcus Kreiger and Roshni Samlal, her tabla, and accompanist Camila Celin!

About The Artists:



Everton Isidoro is a versatile Brazilian musician known for his exceptional skills as a drummer and composer. With a rich background in traditional Brazilian music, he masterfully blends genres like samba, bossa nova, and MPB with contemporary influences. Everton has performed at numerous prestigious venues and festivals, captivating audiences with his soulful melodies. His dedication to preserving and innovating Brazilian musical traditions has made him a respected figure in the global music community.





Roshni Samlal, a musician from Trinidad and Tobago, is celebrated for her prowess as a tabla player. Her performances blend traditional Indian classical music with contemporary styles, showcasing her versatility and deep understanding of rhythm. Roshni's dedication to her craft has made her a respected figure in the world of percussion, earning her recognition both in her home country and internationally. Through her music, she continues to promote the rich cultural heritage of Trinidad and Tobago, while also pushing the boundaries of modern musical expression.
