Lioness is a collective of female jazz instrumentalists living in New York City whose mission is to inspire and educate the community at large by sharing music created by women in jazz, both past and present. Through outreach in the schools and in community spaces for the general public as well as providing networking opportunities for female musicians, Lioness performs and conduct workshops focusing on the contributions of women in jazz.

In this third and final concert in the Lioness: Women in Jazz Concert Series, the Lioness Ensemble will perform original compositions by members of the group, along with an online Q&A with baritone saxophonist Lauren Sevian, guitarist Amanda Monaco, and tenor saxophonist Jenny Hill.
